China, Christ and Consumerism

This photo was taken in a shopping mall in China. Its depicts Mickey Mouse, the symbol of American capitalist consumerism, being crucified as Jesus Christ. Given China’s slowly emerging  culture of consumerism, the growth of Christianity and the tenacity of the communist party… no.


I don’t even know where to start with this.
