So Long And Thanks For All the Radiation!

Dear U.S.of A.,

Thank you for the gracious liberty and happiness wonderfully bestowed on us lowly savages. We, who are the misguided, the raging prudes, constantly abusing our women, indoctrinating our children with hate and evil, who lack the ability to fathom the concept of comedy, culture, and civility.

Cancer, leukaemia and infant mortality are all increasing in the Iraqi town of Fallujah, which saw fierce fighting between US forces and Sunni insurgents, a new survey says.

Still one of the most dangerous places in Iraq, doctors have been reporting a large number of birth defects since the 2004 offensive.

Thank you America.

Thank you for freeing us from a dictator that you have supported, armed, and funded for ages by humbly bombing a whole society to dust through shock and awe (but first starving us for nearly a decade because said dictator dared to invade Kuwait after you gave him the green light to do so). Thank you for using napalm and depleted uranium shells in your combat missions. Thank you for infecting our wombs, disfiguring our children and then orphaning them, and blessing us with your delightful torture.

Children in Fallujah are being born with limb, head, heart and nervous system defects. There is even a claim that a baby was born with three heads.

The number of heart defects among newborn babies is said to be 13 times higher than the rate in Europe.

Under international law it is illegal if used as an offensive weapon. America has never given a clear response to claims it also used depleted uranium weapons against the insurgents, such as ‘bunkerbuster’ bombs. Both types of weapons can contaminate crops and water supplies.

Thanks America.

Thanks for coming along and utterly decimating an entire nation. Thanks for standing idly by as our ancient culture and heritiage were looted . Thanks for lounging around in your pools and A/C’d permanent bases while the native population sweats thirstily away in the heat and the dark. Thanks for raping usjustifying it (so it was all stress, eh!  Oh well, carry on then), and, courageously,  humanizing the rape. This is for our own good, after all, and we fully understand that.

Dramatic increases in infant mortality, cancer and leukaemia in the Iraqi city of Fallujah, which was bombarded by US Marines in 2004, exceed those reported by survivors of the atomic bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in 1945, according to a new study.

Iraqi doctors in Fallujah have complained since 2005 of being overwhelmed by the number of babies with serious birth defects, ranging from a girl born with two heads to paralysis of the lower limbs. They said they were also seeing far more cancers than they did before the battle for Fallujah between US troops and insurgents.

Their claims have been supported by a survey showing a four-fold increase in all cancers and a 12-fold increase in childhood cancer in under-14s. Infant mortality in the city is more than four times higher than in neighbouring Jordan and eight times higher than in Kuwait.

Thank you America.

Thank you for guiding us to a shallow democracy, where the violence and the chaos re-enforces the legitimacy of neighboring dictators.

“It’s either us, or that,” they say, pointing at the state of Iraq with half a smile and a wink.

Thanks for weakening our home-grown movements for change and self-determination. Thanks for supporting dictatorships in the region as long as the oil flows and the Zionists roam free. Thanks for protecting us from terrorists by assassinating people through a shadowy secret awesome kill squad, villifying a religion, a culture, and a people. A big thanks for asking us to financially pay for it all.

After denying it at first, the Pentagon admitted in November 2005 that white phosphorous, a restricted incendiary weapon, was used a year earlier in Fallujah.

In addition, depleted uranium (DU) munitions, which contain low-level radioactive waste, were used heavily in Fallujah. The Pentagon admits to having used 1,200 tonnes of DU in Iraq thus far.

Many doctors believe DU to be the cause of a severe increase in the incidence of cancer in Iraq, as well as among U.S. veterans who served in the 1991 Gulf War and through the current occupation.

“We saw all the colours of the rainbow coming out of the exploding American shells and missiles,” Ali Sarhan, a 50-year-old teacher who lived through the two U.S. sieges of 2004 told IPS. “I saw bodies that turned into bones and coal right after they were exposed to bombs that we learned later to be phosphorus.

“The most worrying is that many of our women have suffered loss of their babies, and some had babies born with deformations.”

“I had two children who had brain damage from birth,” 28-year-old Hayfa’ Shukur told IPS. “My husband has been detained by the Americans since November 2004 and so I had to take the children around by myself to hospitals and private clinics. They died. I spent all our savings and borrowed a considerable amount of money.”

Thanks for being you.

Now please…FUCK OFF  with you alleged “withdrawal” and leave already.

You have over stayed your welcome a long time ago.

Wuv,

Fallujah (the rest of Iraq, the West Asian region, and perhaps a large number of other places)

Learn the ugly truth about the Fallujah birth defects http://www.examiner.com/military-headlines-in-orlando/fallujah-birth-defects

    Interesting justification.

    My rebuttal:

    1) The article quotes figures of increased rates of disformaties AFTER 2004 (the second attack on Fallujah).

    2) The Pentagon and the military had first denied use of white phosphorus, napalm in Fallujah (and elsewhere). This has been proven false by independent organizaiton and media personal on the ground. So your insistence that you could not find any proof from military personal of the use of DU is taken with a pinch of salt. I’m still waiting for those WMDs.

    3) ” The 2003 invasion force stayed far away from Fallujah. Baghdad and Tikrit were the targets.” – Why then were radioactivity found in Basra, for example. http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?context=va&aid=3116

    4) ” it makes no military sense to employ DU munitions in an urban environment.” It probably made as much military sense as the massacre of RETREATING Iraqi troops on the Highway of Death in 1991 (using DU): http://www.seattlepi.com/national/95178_du12.shtml

Or perhaps its similar to the same military sense of dropping the atomic bomb on the city center of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, when military targets were on the outskirts of these cities.

I think the quote by Lt. Col. Gareth Brandl, commander of one of the battalions “at the tip of the spear” of the assault on Fallujah makes it quite clear the military sense behind what happened in Fallujah:

“‘The Marines that I have had wounded over the past five months have been attacked by a faceless enemy. But the enemy has got a face. He’s called Satan. He lives in Fallujah. And we’re going to destroy him.'”

I suggest reading the reports be Dahr Jamail, a brave freelance journalist, that has covered much of the war crimes by the Americans in Iraq, and Fallujah. As a military historian, I do think you’ll need it.
